Model validation and verification

User applications

EADS Space Transportation uses SDT for model validation and verification. The SDT topology correlation process based on observation matrices is quite general and could be used to estimate test shapes at all points using dynamic expansion even in the case of models imported from PERMAS as superelements. Dynamic expansion of for a mode of the main Ariane 5 booster.
For ESC-A tests, model updating was performed within SDT (See Bobillot's PhD dissertationDownload PDF (5.6 MB)) and efficient strategies for uncertainty propatation were considered ( See paper here).
